Thanks to Dustin I was just lead to a video teaser for the Papa Roach music video I suspended in on the morning of our engagement party. I had my friend Brennan throw my hooks that morning and help with my rope work. He pierced me while I sat in a chair around 9:00am in a condemned mental institution, and I suspended in awkward positions for what seemed like a million years about an hour and a half of shooting. It wasn't surprising to find that suspending first thing in the morning is not for me. It took many cuts, but we eventually got all the shots we needed. Brennan left for work at that point and I was off to have a nap before running around and organizing the engagement party that Bri and I were hosting that night at The FALL.

Since I was planning to suspend that night, I didn't remove my hooks. I napped, showered and continued with my day with two size 12 Sea Demons in my back. After a long day of running around like a chicken with it's head chopped off, our event went off nicely. A little behind schedule, but still great nonetheless. Eventually 1:00am rolled around and I took off my shirt and suspended again from the same hooks that I used that morning. This time around, my buddy Dirk helped me with my rope work after I lifted myself up. As expected, my back was pretty sore when I started pulling on it, but it was something I had never done before and a great way to push myself. I even lifted Bri and held her up with me for awhile. Intense.
