I've been home sick today with a pretty nasty cold, but luckily my good friend Caeli came to my rescue and brought me a bunch of Neo Citron and chicken noodle soup. So far I have spent the day drinking lots of water and trying to sleep this off in preparation for work at The FALL tomorrow. It must be working because I'm feeling 200% better now than I was for the first half of the day. I'm planning to spend the rest of my night snuggling up on my couch by the fireplace and watching movies.
I received a violet wand in the mail on Friday that I recently won in an Ebay auction. It's a fetish toy antique electrotherapy device used for the application of low current, high voltage, high-frequency electricity to the body using a tesla coil. It was once considered a device to cure many ailments, but I definitely have my own applications in mind.

A business partner and I have decided to start up an online shop (company name TBA). We're going to begin by printing t-shirts and other miscellaneous clothing, among other ideas that are still on the drawing board. Expect to hear much more about this in the next few months as well as sneak peaks of designs that will be going into print. We'll be setting up an online shop through russfoxx.com to start, but once it gets off the ground it'll have it's own site devoted. In the meantime, watch for it in the main links bar at the top of the page; right next to the FAQ.
Here's a preliminary design for a tekky shirt about microdermal anchors and the punch & taper procedure. This one will likely be our first print after a little bit more tweaking. If you like what you see, let me know! Feel free to comment in the forum below as well.

BME just had their 2008 year end awards, and I received an honourable mention for being an editorial contributer for my work at ASKBME.COM. For the last four years I've been recognized as a top contributer to the main BME site, but this year I've had too much on the go with volunteer work in other endeavors such as the CoBM and other projects. Now that I finally have a decent camera I'll start taking more pictures of my work for BME and my online portfolios.
As I'm sure it's pretty obvious, I've started posting more personal aspects of my life in my blog. Expect this to continue on a regular basis. We all need our outlets, right?
